| We booked a meal at the Crown this week, as they had a new managment team take over in the last few days. Well, what a difference! The pub has been renovated to make it feel alot more welcoming and warm. Lots of interesting touchs, and some soft furnishings which make it more homely and gives the whole place a better atmosphere.The linen napkins are back, which demonstrates the enthusiasum and integrity of the new team. This seems to have been lacking over the last year or so. Our food was excellant and the service very subtley attentive. The new managers were very friendly and welcoming. Well done to the new team. We shall be visiting more regularly again. | |

| Under new management | |
| On a recent visit back to Cambridgeshire we had heard that The Crown at Broughton was under new management so we decided to go for lunch. We were warmly greeted on arrival shown to our table and given the bar menu and the A la carte menu. There was also further choice on the specials board. Everybody in our party was very happy with their meal choices. The food was beautifully presented and the chef had used locally sourced produce. The children in our party were well catered for with a prince and princess menu and colouring activities. The service was excellent throughout. I will definitely return to The Crown next time I am in Cambridge. | |
